Planned Roadworks and Diversions
Dalmeny from Saturday 28th June
To allow works to take place, parts of Station Road (Dalmeny) will be closed from 2100 hrs to 0600 hrs each night for 3 nights from Sat. 28th June.
Diversion:
Service 43 N43 (to Queensferry) - between A90 at Barnbougle and The Loan, buses will be diverted via A90, A800 and Kirkliston Road.
Service 43 (to Edinburgh) - between The Loan and A90 at Barnbougle, buses will be diverted via Kirkliston Road, Ferrymuir Road and A90.
Old Liston Road from Monday 30th June
To allow works to take place, Old Liston Road will be closed from Start of service on Mon. 30th June until End of service on Fri. 4th July.
Diversion:
Service 71 – between Newbridge Roundabout and the B800, buses will be diverted via the A89 in both directions.
South Street Dalkeith
Due to a roadworks buses are unable to serve South Street, Dalkeith from Friday 27th June for approximately 5 days.
Diversions:
Services 3 139 N3 (Towards Edinburgh/Hardengreen) – between Newmills Road and Eskbank Road will be diverted via Buccleuch Street.
Service 48 (Towards Edinburgh) – between Newmills Road and Lugton Brae will be diverted via Buccleuch Street and Old Edinburgh Road.
Service 46 (Towards Edinburgh) – between Eskbank Road and Edinburgh Road will be diverted via High Street.
South Gyle Broadway (Eastbound)
Due to roadworks buses are unable to serve South Gyle Broadway eastbound until further notice.
Diversion:
Services 21 22 – between Redheughs Avenue and South Gyle Access, buses will be diverted via South Gyle Crescent when heading Eastbound.
Menzies Road (Bathgate) from Monday 30th June
To allow resurfacing works to take place, Menzies Road will be closed from Monday 30th June for approximately 6 Weeks.
Diversion:
Services 73 X27 X28 N28 – between Linkston Way Roundabout and Glasgow Road Roundabout, buses will be diverted via Whitburn Road, South Bridge Street and North Bridge Street.
Murrayfield - Ormidale Terrace Bus Stops
Due to roadworks, the bus stops at Ormidale Terrace will be closed from Sun. 8th June until further notice.
Please use the stops at Murrayfield Road - Tennis Courts IN BOTH DIRECTIONS during this time.
Kingston Crossroads to Fenton Barns from 9th June
To allow carriageway repairs to take place, Kingston Crossroads to Fenton Barns will be closed from Start of Service on Monday 9th June for approximately 1 month.
Diversion:
Service 121 – between Merryhatton Garden Centre and Kingston, buses will operate direct via B1347 in both directions.
B1407 at East Linton from Monday 19th May
Due to resurfacing, B1407 at East Linton will be closed from Mon. 19th May until End of service on Mon. 30th June.
Eyre Place
Due to ad-hoc closures, buses are unable to serve Eyre Place until further notice.
Diversion:
Service 36 – between Broughton Road and Henderson Row, buses will be diverted via Canonmills, Brandon Terrace and Brandon Street when heading citybound.
Henderson Street from Friday 21st March
Due to roadworks, Services using Henderson Street will be subject to disruption until further notice.
Diversions:
Services 16 35 N16 (Northbound) – between the Foot of the Walk and The Shore, buses will be diverted via Great Junction Street, Cables Wynd and Parliament Street heading northbound only.
Service 36 (Northbound) – between Bonnington Road and The Shore, buses will be diverted via Cables Wynd and Parliament Street heading northbound only.
As the works are also restricting the use of larger buses southbound Services 16 & N16 will also divert Citybound
Services 16 N16 (Citybound) - between Lindsay Road and Kirkgate Centre, buses will divert via North Junction Street and Great Junction Street.
Services 35 & 36 will continue to operate normal route via Henderson Street Citybound.
Pennywell Gardens
Due to parked vehicles buses are unable to serve Pennywell Gardens westbound until further notice.
Diversion:
Services 37 N37 (to Silverknowes) – between Pennywell Shops and Silverknowes Parkway, buses will be diverted via Pennywell Road and Muirhouse Parkway to Silverknowes only
