Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve South Street and are instead diverted via Buccleuch Street,Eskbank Road ,Eskbank Roundabout back down to Dalkeith High Street and resume normal route at Edinburgh Road towards Edinburgh until further notice.

Planned Roadworks and Diversions
Delislie Street, Dunbar
Due to a road closure buses are unable to serve parts of Delislie Street and High Street in Dunbar until further notice.
Diversion:
Services 107 120 X7 – between Belhaven Road and Abbey Road/High Street (at Rail Station), buses will divert via Doon Avenue and Countess Road in both directions.
Chambers Street (Eastbound) overnight on Monday 31st March
Due to crane works, Chambers Street will be closed Eastbound Only from 2000 hrs on Monday 31st March until approximately 0500 hrs on Tuesday 1st April.
Diversion:
Services 35 45 (Eastbound) – between Forrest Road and South Bridge, buses will be diverted via Bristo Place, Potterrow, Nicolson Square and Nicolson Street heading eastbound only .
Gyle Centre on Tuesday 1st April
To allow an evacuation drill to take place, buses will be unable to access the Gyle Centre between approx. 1000 and 1100 hrs on Tuesday 1st April.
Diversions -
Service 36 - to & from Lochside Crescent, buses will operate via South Gyle Broadway in both directions.
Services 21 22 - from South Gyle Broadway, buses will operate a one-way loop via South Gyle Broadway, Lochside Crescent and Redheughs Avenue.
Service 12 - from South Gyle Crescent, buses will operate a one-way loop via South Gyle Broadway, Lochside Crescent, Redheughs Avenue and South Gyle Crescent.
Services 32 400 - Will not serve the Gyle Centre and will operate directly between Gogar roundabout and Lochside Crescent.
Services 70 71 - Instead of operating into Gyle Centre, buses will operate into South Gyle Broadway and terminate there.
Brodie Road (Dunbar) on Monday 31st March
To allow utility works to take place, part of Brodie Road will be closed from 0930 hrs until approximately 2100 hrs on Monday 31st March.
Diversion:
Service 130 – buses will remain on Spott Road, omittng Brodie Road and Yosemite Park. Journeys which would normally turn at Yosemite Park will instead turn at Spott Roundabout.
Seafield Street from Monday 31st March
Due to manhole repair works, Seafield Street will be closed from Monday 31st March for approximately 10 days.
Diversion:
Service 1 – from East Hermitage Place, buses will be diverted via Links Gardens, Salamander Place, Salamander Street and terminate at Seafield Place.
Redford Road from Monday 31st March
To allow roadworks to take place, part of Redford Road will be closed from Monday 31st March for approximately 5 days.
Diversion:
Services 16 N16 – between Colinton Road and Redford Road, buses will be diverted via Thorburn Road and Redford Drive.
Station Road, Uphall
Due to roadworks buses are unable to serve Station Road, Uphall in both directions until further notice.
Diversion :
Service 72 – from West Main Street and Staঞon Road, buses will divert via the A899, Dechmont Roundabout and the A89.
Dirleton Avenue, North Berwick
Due to emergency gas works buses are unable to serve part of Dirleton Avenue until further notice.
Diversion:
Services 124 125 126 127 X5 N124 Eastbound – Between Dirleton Avenue and the Station Road Junction, buses will divert via Fidra Road and York Road when heading eastbound.
Services 124 125 126 127 X5 N124 Westbound – Between the Station Road Junction and Dirleton Avenue , buses will divert via York Road, Fidra Road and Hamilton Road when heading westbound.
Eyre Place
Due to ad-hoc closures, buses are unable to serve Eyre Place until further notice.
Diversion:
Service 36 – between Broughton Road and Henderson Row, buses will be diverted via Canonmills, Brandon Terrace and Brandon Street when heading citybound.
Regal Tour - will operate via Brandon Terrace to Dundas Street.
Henderson Street from Friday 21st March
Due to roadworks, Henderson Street will be closed northbound from Friday 21st March for 8 weeks (approx.).
Diversions:
From the Start of Day Service on Friday 21st March, this diversion will come in operation
Services 16 35 N16 (Northbound) – between the Foot of the Walk and The Shore, buses will be diverted via Great Junction Street, Cables Wynd and Parliament Street heading northbound only.
Service 36 (Northbound) – between Bonnington Road and The Shore, buses will be diverted via Cables Wynd and Parliament Street heading northbound only.
Citybound services will revert to normal routes.
Pennywell Gardens
Due to parked vehicles buses are unable to serve Pennywell Gardens westbound until further notice.
Diversion:
Services 37 N37 (to Silverknowes) – between Pennywell Shops and Silverknowes Parkway, buses will be diverted via Pennywell Road and Muirhouse Parkway to Silverknowes only
Marchmont Crescent from Monday 12th August
Due to water works, Marchmont Crescent will be closed until 31st May 2025 (approx.)
Lochend Drive
Due to parked cars, buses are unable to serve Lochend Drive until further notice.
