York Place (Westbound) overnight on Sunday 18th May

Due to tram track repairs, York Place will be closed westbound only between approximately 2200 hrs on Sunday 18th May and 0400 hrs on Monday 19th May.

Services 10 11 Citybound – Between Elm Row and Princes Street, buses will divert via Leith Street and Waverley heading westbound only.


Morrison Street (night works) from Monday 19th May

Due to roadworks, part of Morrison Street will be closed from 1900 hrs on Monday 19th May and will be closed between 1900 hrs and 0700 hrs EACH NIGHT for 4 nights.

Services 1 34 35 – between Dundee Street and Lothian Road, buses will be diverted via the West Approach Road when heading citybound only.

Service 2 Eastbound – between Torphichen Street and Bread Street, buses will be diverted via Morrison Street, Morrison Link, West Approach Road and Lothian Road.

Service 2 Westbound – between East Fountainbridge and Morrison Street, buses will be diverted via Lothian Road, West Approach Road and Morrison Link.

Service 124 (Eastbound) – when leaving the terminus in East Fountainbridge, buses will operate directly into Lothian Road (omitting Semple Street)


B1407 at East Linton from Monday 19th May

Due to resurfacing, B1407 at East Linton will be closed from Mon. 19th May until End of service on Mon. 9th June.

Shandwick Place from Monday 19th May

Due to tram works, Shandwick Place will be closed from 0015 hrs on Monday 19th May and will be closed between 0015 hrs and 0430 hrs EACH NIGHT for 2 nights.

West Approach Road on Saturday 17th May

Due to tree cutting, West Approach Road will be closed between Sainsbury's and Fountainpark between 0700 hrs and 1800 hrs on Sat. 17th May.

Services 22 30 (Westbound) – between West Approach Road (Rear of Fountainpark) and Stevenson Road, buses will be diverted via Henderson Terrace, Gorgie Road and Westfield Road heading westbound.


Services X27 X28 (Eastbound) – between Gorgie Road (at Saughton Park) and West Approach Road (Rear of Fountainpark), buses will be diverted via Gorgie Road, Henderson Terrace and Dundee Street then back onto West Approach Road heading eastbound.
Services X27 X28 (Westbound) – between West Approach Road (Rear of Fountainpark) and Gorgie Road (at Saughton Park), buses will be diverted via Henderson Terrace and Gorgie Road heading westbound.

Church Street (Tranent) on Sunday 18th May

Due to water works, Church Street will be closed between 0900 hrs and 1900 hrs on Sun. 18th May.

Service X4 – between A198 and Tranent High Street, buses will be diverted via Edinburgh Road, A1 Dolphingstone junction, A1 and A1 Bankton junction in both directions.
**Buses will serve the stops west of Church Street on Edinburgh Road.**


Grays Loan from Saturday 17th May

Due to utility works, Grays Loan will be closed between Start of service on Sat. 17th and End of service on Mon. 19th May.

Service 38 – Between Ashley Terrace and Myreside Road, buses will be diverted via Polwarth Terrace and Colinton Road in both directions.


A1 Eastbound (The Jewel to Old Craighall) from Monday 12th May

Due to resurfacing works, A1 will be closed EASTBOUND between The Jewel and Old Craighall between 1915 hrs and 0615 hrs EACH WEEKDAY night from Mon. 12th May to Mon. 2nd June.

Diversions:

Services 4 49 (Eastbound) – From The Jewel, buses will turn at The Jewel Roundabout and divert via The Jewel, Duddingston Park South and Newcraighall Road to Fort Kinnaird when heading Eastbound.
Service 4 will terminate on the main road outside Fort Kinnaird, allowing passengers to connect to Service 30 for QMU.


Service 106 – will terminate at Queen Margaret University Campus Stop. Buses will not serve Fort Kinnaird during this diversion.


Service X4 - Between The Jewel and Wallyford Junction, buses will divert via Salter’s Road, Carberry Road, Inveresk, Newbigging, Musselburgh High Street, Bridge Street, North High Street, Edinburgh Road, Milton Road and Milton Link heading eastbound only.
Service X7 - Between The Jewel and Dolphingstone Junction, buses will divert via the A199, Haddington Road, Linkfield Road, Musselburgh High Street, Bridge Street, North High Street, Edinburgh Road, Milton Road and Milton Link heading eastbound only.


Inglis Green Road (overnight works) from Tuesday 13th May

Due to a bridge inspection, part of Inglis Green Road will be closed between 2200 hrs and 0600 hrs each night for 2 Nights from Tuesday 13th May.

Service 34 – between Calder Road and Slateford Station will be diverted via Stenhouse Road and Chesser Avenue in both directions.

Service 36 – between Calder Road and Craiglockhart Avenue will be diverted via Stenhouse Road, Chesser Avenue and Lanark Road in both directions.

Additional Note - Journeys on Service 44 will operate via the diversion route on journeys to/from Longstone Garage ONLY - full route service 44 buses are unaffected.


B1377 at Prora Cottages (Drem) from Monday 28th April

Due to road works, B1377 at Prora Cottages will be closed from Mon. 28th April for approx. 3 weeks.

Saughtonhall Drive (Southbound) from Wednesday 2nd April

To allow cable installation works to take place, part of Saughtonhall Drive will be closed Southbound Only from Wednesday 2nd April for approximately 6 Weeks.

Due to ad-hoc closures, buses are unable to serve Eyre Place until further notice.

Henderson Street from Friday 21st March

Due to roadworks, Henderson Street will be closed northbound from Friday 21st March for 8 weeks (approx.).
